The quintessential family business, founded in North London in 1953. A lot has changed in that time, but some elements remain firmly in place from when Ron got the ball rolling all those years ago.

Retailers, Market Traders, Wholesalers - the business has operated in every sector of the industry over the past 72 years so it’s fair to say if there’s something this family doesn’t know about fresh produce, it’s probably not worth knowing at all.

Pre millennium Ron & David ran some of the busiest markets in the south of England. Aylesbury, Buckingham, Banbury & Cirencester to name a few. But despite transitioning into a full time wholesaler in the late 90’s one market stall remains at the very top of its game. Abingdon sees hundreds of hungry punters flock to the market square every Monday morning to taste the delights of the traders.

David began serving farm shops and restaurants from his market stalls in the late 90’s and eventually decided that wholesale was the way forward.

26 years on and the business is proud suppliers of the areas most prestigious, award winning retailers and caterers.

Despite major technical and logistical advances over the years we’re still adopting the same principles Ron implemented on day one. Up and out by midnight, walking the line in the markets, sourcing the finest, freshest produce with our eyes. Then we’re back to Banbury for 6, unloaded, picked, packed and reloaded onto our vans before setting off in different directions, hitting our customers all within 12 hours of that first alarm. That’s some going!
